60 Years

Hucknall's World Cup Anthem

Organised by the Hucknall Ukulele Group (HUGs)

To celebrate football's greatest competition this year and the 60th aniversary of England winning the World Cup, our local lyricist Louise Cooke has written a song to help encourage the Lions to victory in the States.

It's a busy time for the people at Hucknall FC, but they graciously allowed us a couple of hours to film a music video of Louise's song at the ground using one of the stands as a backdrop.

Led by our busker friend Ukulele Eric, supported by the Hucknall Ukulele Group (HUGs) our  friends and a couple just out walking their dog, we hoped to create a lasting memory for everyone to share.
