Ever fancied being part of a flash mob? 

Well, now's your chance.

To celebrate the planned construction of a new bandstand and the introduction of live music back to the park, we have the support of Ashfield District Council to organise a "Ukulele Flash Mob" in the park at the end of July.

Basically, we have enlisted the talents of Ukelele Eric to start off the proceedings. We then all gradually join him until we have the full ensemble. I mean, how difficult can it be?

To keep things simple the first song will be "You are my Sunshine" then once everyone is together followed by "Oh Boy". Two popular songs with repeating choruses and verses. We'll be supplying music and videos for you to practice with. 

We will have the use of some sophisticated video and sound recording equipment and together with similar editing facilities to the Coronation Fun-Strum we will be able to credit all the groups that join in for use on their own FB, Instagram, YT or websites.

As before, we have no idea of numbers, so we would ask you to register your interest below. We can then keep you updated as things progress.
